Enhancing partnerships between the NGO alcohol and other drug (AOD) and DCJ child protection sectors cross sector forum

16 June 2021
10:00am – 4:15pm
Wesley Conference Centre/Online, Sydney, NSW
NADA is excited to be facilitating this forum together with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to enhance partnerships between NSW NGO AOD services and DCJ child protection services.

Collaborative relationships supported by effective referral pathways ensure vulnerable families receive the supports they need, when and where they need them. It is critical for the child protection and AOD sectors to work together to strengthen supports for families, and improve outcomes for children. While collaborative practice has improved between our sectors, systemic barriers remain.

This forum will provide a unique opportunity for NADA members and DCJ staff to come together in person and online, to hear from leading practitioners from both sectors, network and enhance relationships and build a more connected system.

The forum will be opened by Simone Walker (Deputy Secretary, Department of Communities and Justice) and Robert Stirling (CEO, NADA).

For more details and  information, check out the program [PDF].

Unfortunately registrations for the forum have closed, as it has reached capacity numbers.
