Description


Wayback Ltd is an AOD Rehabilitation Service with an administration centre at Harris Park and 10 residential properties in Sydney’s Western Suburbs with a combined capacity of 46 beds. Clients engage in a 9mth structured rehabilitation program as they navigate community life while developing long-term strategies to manage relapse triggers.  

Wayback is seeking an experienced and companionate visionary to lead the organisation, continuing excellence in governance, service delivery and innovation.

Key Selection Criteria

Leadership & Strategic Vision

  • Demonstrated success in leading health, rehabilitation or not-for-profit organisations, ideally across multi-site operations
  • Proven ability to deliver effective, values-driven leadership with transparency, decisiveness and empathy


Clinical & Operational Oversight

  • Sound understanding of clinical care models, client case management and harm minimisation approaches
  • Familiarity with the operations of NSW Drug Courts, Corrective Services and the justice system


Financial & Organisational Stewardship

  • Experience overseeing day-to-day administrative, financial, staffing and property asset responsibilities
  • A track record of supervising corporate reporting, compliance, risk and quality assurance systems


Community Engagement & Growth

  • Capacity to build strong relationships across all levels of NSW State Government and relevant stakeholders
  • A strong fundraising record including grants, tenders, bequests and philanthropy initiatives


Personal Attributes

  • A deep commitment to treating every client with dignity, respect and integrity
  • A passion for supporting underprivileged men and women through real life-changing opportunities
  • Hands-on experience working with complex and vulnerable populations, guided by firm but compassionate leadership
