Description
In this highly rewarding role as a Case Worker at Freeman House you will support people on their recovery journey through tailored case management, one-to-one support and group work. Your focus will be on improving health, wellbeing and social outcomes, while empowering clients to achieve long-term stability and connection within the community.
Requirement
• Identified role under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and as such Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role
• Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals with complex needs (AOD, homelessness, mental health, or justice system involvement)
• Diploma in AOD or a related community services field with relevant experience, or a degree in Social Work, Counselling, or another related discipline
• Ability to deliver evidence-based treatment approaches to support recovery
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Commitment to ethical, professional, and culturally sensitive practice
• A valid NSW driver licence
