Description
- Lead NUAA’s BBV harm-reduction programs across NSW.
- Oversee program planning, risk management, evaluation and quality improvement.
- Manage staff supervision, wellbeing and development.
- Build partnerships with LHDs, community organisations and research partners.
- Drive the design and implementation of the new Western Sydney NSP.
- Ensure compliance with all NUAA policies, procedures and legislative frameworks.
- Contribute to organisational strategy, funding proposals and continuous improvement.
Requirement
Essential selection criteria for this role are:
- Brings lived and/or living experience of drug use and deep understanding of BBV and harm reduction.
- Has at least five years’ experience in harm reduction, community or public health services.
- Is a confident leader and mentor with proven program and staff management experience.
- Can think strategically and translate ideas into operational outcomes.
- Understands partnership-building across the community and health sectors.
- Can manage budgets, contracts and compliance with professionalism and integrity.
- Holds a current driver’s licence and can travel within NSW.
Desirable:
- Experience establishing or re-establishing community health services in collaboration with Local Health Districts.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (health, community services or management).
- Experience working with Aboriginal and multicultural communities.
