Federal Budget 2020-21: Australian Alcohol and other Drugs Council member briefing
The Australian Alcohol and other Drugs Council (AADC) has summarised measures from the Federal Budget 2020-21 relevant to the AOD sector and the communities we support here [PDF]. NADA has been in touch Minister Hunt’s Office to stress the importance for Commonwealth funded treatment services to be advised if the equal remuneration order (ERO) supplement will be applied post 30 June 2021. NADA reiterated the impact on the workforce and the subsequent reduction in treatment availability that will occur. NADA members should contact Robert to discuss any concerns.
